Rosewood Working and getting your paws dirty can have different meanings to different mice within Winterheap. For Rosewood it meant spending the day painting with the berries and roots she'd find on her little harvesting escapades. The young doe had just finished working on something and her paws and cheeks were a bit stained with the dyes she had used so she was washing her paws clear and wiping her cheeks off with the small leaf cloth she had. Taking a moment now to look around the place she has called home since birth.
Quiet.
The cacophony of nighttime things singing their goodbyes wavered in various wavelengths across the expanse of Winterheap, the hushed moment of in-betweens when the sky held both moon and sun. The great light in the sky rising instead of falling--but the peace wrapped itself tightly around them anyway and shooed those of nocturnal descent off to the darker places they could rest.
In these moments of silent peace, Rosewood found herself humming a soft little tune her mother had often sang to her when she needed help to sleep. open to all!

WE ARE THE RECKLESS we are the wild youth. chasing visions of our futures. and we're setting fire to our insides for fun, collecting pictures from the flood that wrecked our home.
| T he rat couldn't spend all her time hiding out within her home made out of that old burrow, she did have to go and barter with the mice every now and again for the little things that she needed. It also didn't hurt to get her name out there a bit by visiting with the locals at the marketplace. It was all hustle and bustle like usual with the usual stares of intrigue or the glances of mistrust. She was used to it all and ignored it with practiced ease as she sifted through the crowd and went about her business. It was a busy day but somehow she only made out with the promises of items to be traded at a later date for her services. It wouldn't feed the mouth tonight but perhaps the leftover starling from a previous hunt would. She turned to head out and be on her way through the now emptying streets of the market but stopped when she saw a petite little doe washing her hands of dye. She was a tiny little creature, probably a resident of Winterheap. Curious was the white rat as she stood there with keen pink eyes, examining what the young doe was doing. Possibly the doe was a painter or an artist, either way the rat was not one to let an opportunity like this go to waste. So, she approached with a kind smile and an almost hesitant step. She knew her appearance was off-putting to some so she didn't want to rush up and terrify the poor lady to death. "Excuse me, miss... The Madame would like to be asking. What is your profession?" She paused, only coming a respectful distance to the female as she waited to see how the doe would react. |

Rosewood Rose was so deep in her thoughts she hadn't at first heard the rat approach her, her scent reached the young mouse's nose though. Her ears twitched back to acknowledge the creature before she turned her round doe like eyes towards the rat. A timid thing she quick dried her paws to hide the fact they might be shaking just a tad. Rosewood wondered what this rat could possibly want with her unless she wanted a 'painting' or something.
When the female rat spoke, Rose tilted her head slightly to the side at the question. It took her a moment to register the question before she answered the pale colored rat. "Oh! Um..I'm an artist. I dabble in all kinds of painting or designing." She finally replied as she looked over the creature for a minute. "Was..there something you needed?" Madame Magpie
